If tactile could integrate in the start page of Google Apps and create better integration with Gmail (see SalesForce model or www.box.net), it could become the "public" contact manager that is so much missing in Google Apps, a first feature as "send with your gmail apps count " could be a small revolution and helps small businness to integer tactile in google apps suite... |

Hello Yes it's simlar to outlook-exchange, either when you are in your google apps account you click send an email you can select the "public" tactile account (as an outlook public contact folder) or when you are in a tactile adress you click send to this contact and it opens a new gmail apps windows, with that no need any more for exchange, but the key is a public contact management db... Well it's the only thing that is retaining us to more our 20 users out of exchange... |

Hi, Well you can do the 'from Google apps' bit by simply bcc'ing in your email drop box from Tactile (add it as a contact is the easiest way). I belive if you download Google toolbar it will open up a Google Mail window when you click on the email address in Tactile instead of your desktop client too. Does this work for you? Thanks Jake |

Hello Thnak for the answer. It seems google toolbar is for google gmail NOT for google apps mail. To be more precise in my question I refer to Remember the Milk which realy mashup with google apps for the tasks or the Salesforce-google apps model. If we have 20 mail-users within an google apps domain when sending or replying to emails you create contacts in your goole apps account, but you cannot share those contacts you will record 20 times an email adress... |

I saw this from the google application providers. I am curious how this fits in with Google Apps. What kind of integration do you have. As Alpin is saying the only thing Google Apps doesn't have is a shared address book. they are erroneously calling something they have a shared contact list but it is a shared user list. Any clarity on what kind of integration Tactile has with Google Apps? Thanks, Ankur |

We have export from Google Apps, i.e. you can pull the contacts from Google Apps into Tactile CRM to use. That is all we have at the moment. Thanks Jake |
